As I Become A Wife . . .

is a lot more exciting than getting a new pair of shoes!

Lol. I am not kidding!

We were on shopping spree last weekend, as I do not own a lot of clothing here. Mental note: remind mum to ship my clothes pronto. After getting everything I needed, Fauzi suddenly took my hand and brought me to the kitchen appliances section. I was confused but happy and was already blooming in hope that maybe he would be kind enough to let us go home with a new set of something or anything! As if he could read my mind (actually, he can.....haha), he stopped right in front of Tefal section. And in his own romantically way, he said, "ha, choose lah what you need, or rather want, then we can go home" with a pain expression plastered on his face, probably thinking of the size of the dent that I was going to make that night.

In my teen-hood, I honestly, did not give a rat's ass about kitchen utensils, or glassware, or cooking set. I remember vowing to myself that I would not turn into my mum or gramma when it comes to kitchen and its wonderful appliances. Mum and gramma can go batshit crazy over a set of china or glassware. Gramms spends most of her day watching shopping online on television and occasionally purchases things from the channel because she claims she does not have that Korean Magic cooking set, when in fact, she already has one. But in different colour...

So, when I realised that I was over the moon about the prospect of getting a set of Tefal, I knew I am going to turn into my mum and gramma. It is only a matter of time. I cannot deny the inevitable, can I?
