Johny's Treat
Natasha Zainall June 11, 2010 2
This morning, I was awaken to the scent of my mother’s favourite fragrance, Estee Lauder.
And I was like, what is she doing in my room, while lazily rubbing my sleepy eyes. I pulled myself into a sitting position, AND then, a very familiar chirpy voice came into my earshot, “Good Morning baby!”, followed by a series of too-early-to-be-bubbly kind of giggles coming from my dressing room.
I turned around aaaaand yep, there she was, all dolled up sitting at my dressing table applying SK 2.
Oh, did I mention it's MY SK 2? Lol.
“Why is she all dressed up early in the morning? Okay, this situation is peculiar.” I thought.
Normally when I wake up, mommy would be sitting in front of her laptop, doing her work, updating her blogs, checking her Facebook and sometimes going on Skype with daddy.
Y'know the stuff DG mommy does.
I rolled under my duvet and in panic I asked- “Where are you going ma? Why are u all dolled up? WHERE are you going?”
Yep, I asked ALL those questions in one breathe, haha.
And her answer was, “I am going to pay our Maxis bill then probably go and see Aunty Nafzah before she kills me.” She explained slowly as if I were 5. -.-' “Then perhaps we can hit the mall.”
She smiled and glanced over the mirror.
“We?” I asked again, rubbing my sleepy eyes.
“Yes, I’ll be waiting for you downstairs, lambat tinggal.” She said before stepping out of my bedroom.
And yes, she didn't close the door. What's up with parents and not closing the doors, anyway?
*rolling my eyes*
Sleepily and sluggishly, I got up from my oh-so-irresistible-comfy bed and headed for a hot shower.
Half an hour later, I was fresh, properly dressed and ready to hit the road. Okay that's such a lie, haha!
I... may... have taken longer than that to primp myself until mama threatened to leave me, hehe.
Our first stop was HSBC- mommy paid her credit cards. Second stop was Maxis centre- paid our phone bills. And our final stop was Johny’s Restaurant. Now, THAT's more my scenario, hehe.
It’s been awhile we haven’t eaten at Johny’s, hence the jakun photos, haha. We did take quite a lot of photos while waiting for our order. Pardon the substandard quality. I am in need of a new phone or better yet, a *cough* DSLR *cough*.
My lovely mommy, Lizza. Can any of you guess her age? Jeng Jeng Jeng! =P
My cool grandmommy, Mariam. Haaaa, can any of you guess her age pulak? Hehe.
Me. Naaah, you don't have to guess my age. You'll only hurt me, if you guessed wrongly, lol.
They were actually planning for a let's-have-a-steamboat-barbecue-day when everyone's home.
To say I'm excited is understatement. I'm beyond excited.
1) My family looooves steamboat and barbecue.
2) Been awhile we haven't gathered.
So basically, that was the end of our weekend getaway, haha.We didn't even go and see Aunty Nafzah because she was too busy with PTK exams. Next time perhaps.
P/S: "Log on to www.keepondreaming.com Baby, I'm not buying you a DSLR."
I think anybody can guess who said this, no? *sob sob*
Well, in that case, I should go to bed and continue my dream, perhaps tonight I can include the latest iPhone 4 in my dream, hehe.
Nyte people! ;)
Natasha.
