Duck Watching at Blue Boat Office
We had a wedding to attend this morning. It was in Felda Soeharto, about 45 kilometres drive from our house.
Had it been our decision, we would never have gone to the wedding with Elana being unwell and us not knowing the bride nor the groom. But, this wedding was a part of husband’s KOSPEN activity (the bride's mother is a nurse, who is a member of KOSPEN), we had to go. Even the Director of Contagious Diseases from the Ministry of Health had personally reminded husband to attend it, leaving us with no room to say NO.
The wedding was like any other typical Malay wedding. There was nothing worth mentioning to be honest. But, the little pond that we stumbled across on our way home, certainly did!

Who would have thought amidst this jungle of oil palm trees, there is a ‘Blue Boat House’. 😆
Look at the way Elana smiled to the camera and that little pose she gave us. Oh-boy, she’s growing up too fast! Someone please hand me over the pause button!
I love how she screamed and stomped her feet at the sight of the ducks, especially when they made the quack quack sound. It was such a of quaMy 18 months baby girl is now able to recognise and sound cats, dogs and ducks. So, I was extremely proud when she called out to the ducks and tried to imitate their ‘quack quack’ sound.
I wish the pond had been blue, instead of this dark, cloudy, milky coffee colour. Like the one in Perth.
Okay now, I miss Australia. When can I bring Elana back to Mandurah and show her my childhood home and school. #sigh
Thank you, my darling for tagging us along. Had I decided to stay at home and nursed our sick baby, Elana would never had seen this beautiful place and those cute duckies.
