God Save Us, Malaysia

When I was a student, I've promised myself not to get involved in politics, just yet.
I went to university with one aim, that was to complete my studies with flying colours and make my family proud of me; proud of the person I am today; moulded and nurtured by my educators and my surroundings.
When it comes to politics, some of us may agree with our government and some may disagree.
Some of us want them to continue their authority in our nation, and some don't.
Everyone has their own reasons and excuses.
At this age of 22, I now realised that I am able to apprehend politics and agendas of every parties better.
And I understand the freedom of speech, but would you spit at the people who are responsible for the very reason you're studying in universities with the help of government loans and scholarships? To the people who are responsible for the very reason that there is food on your table every day, and the fact that you can pay your rent every month and buy books for every semesters? And the fact that you can go shopping whenever there are sales, and buy the latest gadgets when they come into market?
The issue of Adam Adli that has been circulating Malaysia for weeks, perhaps months; concerns me.
This 'fighting for our rights as students' demonstration makes me wonder what in God's green Earth that they could be possibly fighting for. Everything had been provided by the government and this is how they repay 'em? The main reason your parents sent you to tertiary level is to pursue your education to accomplish your dreams, hence make them the proud parents because you get to be on news for your accomplishment, not because you're about to be locked up behind the bars.
Seriously? Yeea, Unisel does offer 'left-movement' subject to the students, sebab tu their leader budak UPSI kan? Eyh? *sarcasm* This whole thing has NOTHING to do with their universities, but the students themselves. Students are NOT taught how to be rebels at ANY universities, in fact politic is not even encouraged in universities. So to the owner of this blog, you have offended a lot of people, especially Unisel students, with that offending statement of yours, so the least you can do is say sorry and all is forgiven.
Students are not 'designed' to get involved in politics and THAT IS IT (even though AUKU does exist).
Students are teenagers who are bound to follow their heart instead of thinking thoroughly for their actions and the consequences. They are the fragile group who are easily coaxed and influenced especially when some of them have lack of knowledge pertaining an issue as serious as such politics issues.
Some of them may think that they know almost everything, but sadly to say they don't.
What we know today can NEVER measure up to what our leaders know.
SO,
Instead of recklessly expressing your angst and disagreement by violent and blogging in vain, perhaps one can start revolutionizing our country by broadening your mentalities, expanding your knowledge pertaining our country and the history, studying hard and be professionals, and perhaps one day when you are knowledgeable and mature enough, you may pursue politics, or whatever, and mould our country as how you see fit.
But, as for now, your job as a student is to learn, to study, to gain as much knowledge as you could, as one day you will be the leader for tomorrow and you will be an educator for tomorrow's generation. However, after seeing such a heart-wrenching scenario, I doubt these students are fit to be teachers at all.
And don't you think it's quite funny how this demonstration takes place only a few months before the election? Hhmmmmm, udang besar di sebalik batu?
All I can say is, we should be grateful and thankful to what we have.
Don't let outside force influence you.
Don't let anger and frustration get the best of your judgments.
Don't say things that will come around and bit your ass hard in the future.
Kalau dah kena buang, tak ke 'cerah' masa depan?
Think wisely before you act. Do your thing on SPR, not on the street.
WHAT WE HAVE TODAY MAY NOT BE THE BEST, BUT THEY ARE THE BEST THAT WE COULD HAVE NOW.
God save us, Malaysia.
