2011, In A Nutshell

Currently listening to this song and immediately thought, 'Hey, isn't fitting for today's entry. I shall embed this pronto!".

So here I am waving goodbye to 2011 and welcoming 2012.

Almost a month in this notorious year - most believed the luckiest year in Chinese Zodiac and the most popular theory - the end of the world; finally it dawned upon me that I'll be 23 this year.

Yeeeeeep. *pop the 'p' as you say it*
Another year older, on 23rd November.

Which could only mean one thing, more responsibilities, and I am now forced to act my age.
I could no longer make silly mistakes, and be playful as I would not afford to have the excuse to say I was "young and innocent" anymore.
There would be less room for mistakes and I have to always be tactful of  my manners.

2011 ended rather somberly. To me that is.

First of, it really isn't our celebration to rejoice, to begin with
(I may have wised up a lil on this, hehee).

And secondly, if I were to celebrate, hundreds of miles apart from my better half doesn't make a joyous celebration, does it.

So many things happened last year. Some are wonderful. Some aren't.
Over the year, I have positively grown and wised up. And over those occurrences, I may have tripped, and fell and hit the ground so hard and got myself stabbed numerous times at the back, yet I successfully pulled myself up and thrived and learned 'so, this is life'.

Take my hand, and let's take a walk down the memory lane, shall we.
