Home Unlabelled "Bersih" ke (?)
"Bersih" ke (?)

I promised myself not to write any entries on sensitive issues, for example, politics.
But, I think it’s high time for me to voice out my opinion, as the Bersih issue has been circulating Malaysia for weeks.
Bersih 2.0.
Motive ?
Fight for citizen’s rights.
Result ?
CHAOS. Pain.
Yes, some of us may disagree with the government on so many terms.
Some of us want them to continue their authority in our nation, some of us don't.
All of us have our own reasons and excuses.
But if you're reading this, it’s highly likely you're a student, under a government scholarship or government loan.
Some of your parents are perhaps, government servants.
If you deny both claims, then by all means, say what you want, do what you want, this post is irrelevant to you.
But if you are, just stop and think for a second before you tweet, facebook and start expressing your anger and using foul words to show your opposition to the government.
I understand freedom of speech, but would you spit at the people who are responsible for the very reason you're studying abroad right now, the reason you’re able to further your studies with the help of government loan and scholarships, the reason there's food on your table every day, and the fact that you can pay your rent every month - and expect them to sit still and take it?

"Be the change you wish to see in the world" - Ghandi.
Perhaps, instead of recklessly expressing your angst on facebook and twitter in vain, one can start revolutionizing the country by broadening your mentalities, studying hard and be professionals, pursue politics or whatever, and mould the country as you see fit.
All I can say is, we should be grateful and thankful to what we have.
There are many other medium that can be used by the opposition party in order to get their opinion and ideas heard. Rally shouldn’t even be considered as an option. Because at the end of the day, it is YOU who will get hurt.
It’s heartbreaking to see this kind of scenario happening at Malaysia, once a peace country.
It makes me wonder, what sort of 'citizen's rights' that these people are fighting for?
Loan and scholarships to further your studies either abroad or local?
Our government provides JPA/MARA/PTPTN for the citizens, and yet some of them didn't pay what they owed and have the guts to lash out rudely about the government. Irony don't you think?
Asking for raise?
They gave the raise. And they gave 2 months of bonus every year. Isn't that enough?
Reduce and finally remove school fees?
They did. And now schools have to depend on state's money to pay all sorts of bills.
Result - insufficient fund to set up e-learning for our children.Whose to blame?
The government has done a marvelous job in ruling our nation. Look at the way we live right now and compare to our neighbours. We live in peace. It's easy for us to get food. And we're striving to reach the high-income status nation.
Be grateful. Be wise.
Keep it together.
Don't let anger and frustrations get the best of your judgements.
Don't say things that will come around and bite your ass in the future.
If you disagree with the government, do your thing on SPR, not on the street -
Risking your own live and other innocent people's.
YANG ADA SEKARANG MUNGKIN BUKANLAH YANG TERBAIK,TAPI MEREKA YANG TERBAIK YANG KITA BOLEH ADA SEKARANG. - Norfaridahanum (2011)
So many videos are circulationg on YouTube about the rally.
To wake up to these videos was heart-wrenching.
It's just too sad.
What's happening to our country?
God save us, Malaysia.
