I Landed The Richest Job In The World
Alhamdulillah, I have been privileged enough to be granted with a full-time homemaker job since the past 5 months and I am enjoying it to the fullest. ☺️
Growing up as an only child, I was extremely pampered by my parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties. Anything that I wished for, were granted to me and I was not expected to make any effort to prove that I was worthy of the so-said wish.
I had maids growing up. I did not have to wash my plate if I did not want to. I have never cleaned my own toilet. Yes, you read it right, never, cause my husband does it for me, hehe. I was not allowed to be in the kitchen. Probably cause I would only burn it down? Haha. I only recently learned how to change my bedsheets, and it was my husband who taught me.
So, it came as a surprise to a lot of my friends to learn that I am, now, a homemaker. To be completely honest, even my own family members are not fully convinced that I could pull this 'career' off.

Frankly, I did find this job difficult and troublesome in the first two-months of our marriage. However, after days of practice and sheer motivation to impress my husband, I finally got the hang of it and here we are today, I now know how to cook, do laundry, iron clothes, and change my bedsheets.
I even know how to operate the drying machine at the coin laundry near our house. Talk about accomplishment. Lol.
Today, my job scope is 'dirty laundry'.
The geographical location of our backyard that faces the opposite direction of the sun, and the existence of two humongous cherry blossom trees right on our backyard, have successfully obstructed the sun ray from entering, hence making the task of drying clothes an impossible one. I am left with no other alternative, but to load our two-full bags of clean, but damp clothes into our car and drive to the coin laundry near our house and get them dried.
I am home now. And I have got a mountain of clothes to fold before my husband comes home and demands for my attention. I will write again soon. Good bye for now!
