Let's Shop?

This afternoon, we went to Fremantle; the city of light.
It's the home to maaanyyyy beautiful beaches.
*sigh* If only I could swim, I would have joined the teens surfing. T.T
Yes, I can't swim. Huh! Stop laughing. You're meeeeaaaannnn. ='(
Enough with the commercial, hehe.
Hello there everyone, hope everything is wonderful. =)
I certainly had a wonderful time with mommy in the city, hehe.
Our journey to the city began at 11 am.
The earlier, the more places to visit.
And this theory has been proven correct by me! =P

The front-view of our house. =)
This was taken while we were waiting for the taxi to fetch us to Mandurah Train Station at the City Centre.
It took less than 10 minutes drive from our house to the train station, which costed us AUD 23.
Mahal gila okay.
And here I thought, taxis in Malaysia dah cukup mencekik darah, lol.

She must be thinking about daddy. *sigh*
While waiting for the taxi to arrive, I used the time wisely and to the max, by taking photos of the lovely flowers around our house...and our neighbours. =P Haha!
It's Spring in Australia, there should be flowers everywhere, right.
However, sadly, tak ada banyak sangat flowers. =(

The neighbourhood.
Tak banyak sangat flowers kan. Sad Sad.

Mommy said, these are daffodils.
And I say, I have no effing idea. They could be daisies? Haha.

Daffodils (?)
I'm not very sure, maybe someone could identify 'em for me? Haha.

I say, chrysanthemum. Haha, looks like it.
I'm not a floriculturist nor a botanist, hence I wouldn't know the exact name for this lovely species of flower.
It could be a daisy too?
*scratching my non itchy head*

Eeeerrmmmmmmm, kekabu? Ekor kucing? Lols!
I have absolute no intelligent idea of what this could be.

Sorry, couldn't be much of help, haha.

Okay! THIS is daisy. Hahaha, and I'm certain of it, haha! XD
Spring in New Zealand is a lot more beautiful and breathtaking than here in Mandurah, I dare say.
Perchance, next year, we could revisit NZ mommy?
*put on my cutest begging face* hehe!
Back on the track shall we? Haha.
Dear friends, it takes approximately 45 minutes of train ride from Mandurah to reach Perth City - equals to an hour drive. And another half an hour to reach Fremantle from Perth City by train.

This train's service has only operated in Mandurdah for 3 months, even the locals aren't sure how to use this public transportation. And the irony is, THEY asked for OUR help to buy the tickets and where to board and unboard! Haha. Kelakar tak kelakar laa kan. Orang Perak dah naek dulu weyh! =P
Fun fact : You may use the purchased train ticket to board the public ferry and ride the public buses,
for FREE. This rule is only applicable if you have the valid ticket. =)

Their trains are fully carpeted and superbly clean.
You may sit on the floor, or even lie down (if you feel so and tak tau malu la kan, haha),
because the level of cleanliness of their trains is tip top.
You won't find any litter on the seat or between the seats or stains on the carpet.
Bersih gila, we should practice this in Malaysia.
Since Mandurah Station is the initial and final destination, hence the less crowd.
If you boarded the train during peak hours (7am-9am and 4pm-7pm),
then it'd be very flocked and packed like sardines.

Directory on the train.
This made our journey from one city to the other as easy as ABC, and we weren't afraid if we got lost at all.
They even have directories on bus, senang sangat2.
This pretty much makes me wonder the hard time Malaysian tourists must be experiencing whilst travelling in our country, because we don't have this kind of facility on our buses, and our citizens aren't as friendly and helpful as Australians are, so it must be very hard for them to move around in Malaysia.
I say, let's be more helpful the next time we encounter tourists ya.
Smile and offer help when aren't asked, it wouldn't hurt.
Let us from now on inculcate the culture of 'all you have to do is, ask and we'll do it.'
=)

So, that's Perth Station.
Mommy's pointing at the signboard, haha. =P

And she made me do the same, to which I shamelessly complied. =P
Hahaha. Mama, mama. *ngeleng*

These are the photos of the city of Perth. =)
Pedestrians are the Queens and Kings of the road.
Cars and buses' drivers will slow down and sometimes stop when they see you, a pedestrian, in an attempt to cross the road.
They won't glare at you, or shout at you, or curse at you and call you names under the Sun, or hoots at you for crossing the road, unlike SOME Malaysian drivers.
Siapa makan cili dia terasa,
I didn't say ALL Malaysian drivers nor did I state names, lose that frown will ya.

Spotted : Twins with different height found in the midst of Perth City, looking tooo happy, doing all sorts of crrraayyyyy-zzzzzyyyy poses when taking photos, like they own the freaking city! Haha.
Ain't going to upload our crazy photos; all upon my mommy's request, hehe!
Mommy's trying to figure how to purchase the ticket from Perth to Fremantle, haha.
Look at her serious face, it's hilarious to me, lol!
Friends,
*take a deep breath*
If you're travelling with family, you're highly recommended to purchase the Family Rider tciker; 2 adults with 5 concession (children); unlimited ride, all day to all stations, which costs AUD 8.90, murah gila right!
But, if you're travelling alone, or in a smaller number, I suggest (cewah dah boleh apply keja jual tiket train cenggini, lol! -.-') you to purchase All Rider; unlimited ride & all day to all stations as well; AUD 9.80 per person for adult (standard) or AUD 3.90 per person for child (concession).
*exhales*
Phew! =P

The ticket machine.
Make sure that you have small change ya. =)
The train ride was rather long and very crowded, especially since it's Sunday.
Half an hour later, in Fremantle, I came across this super cute scene,
and I couldn't help but smiled and took a photo of 'em.

Aaaaaawwwwww this is super cute isn't?
*dreamy look on my face*
What makes a content mommy? A healthy daddy with cheery kiddos after father-children bonding time. =)))
I want my hubby to be this sweet and darling to our sweethearts one day. *blush*
Ladies and gentleman, here I present you,

The infamous E-Shed Markets.
Located on Victoria Quay. It's the only waterfront market in Western Australia, where you can watch boats and ships passing by as you shop till drop. Amazing isn't! =D
Any trip to Perth won't be complete without a visit to Fremantle. The main attractions include the Fremantle Market, which only opens on certain days; E-Shead Market, which sells items for tourists at a good price and of course a meal of fish and chips at Kaili's, said to be the best in the area.

Yes, I'm ON the railway, hehee. In order to get to E-Shed Markets, we had to cross the train railway to the other side of the city. Ahaaaa percayalah! Haha.
Ala! I forgot to take photo of the signboard, "Watch out for train."
Ewah, dah gaya macam watch our for lembuuss je, lol!
Ewah, dah gaya macam watch our for lembuuss je, lol!
Anyway, let's get inside shall we? =)

The interior of E-Shed Markets.
Where to buy the UGG boots at the cheapest price?
Come to Fremantle, they have it in all sizes, colours and style.
This pair of UGG boots cost around AUD 90, but with good bargain, you'll get it around AUD 65-70.
Cheap and CUTE right? Hehe.
Triplet bailey button, which costs around AUD150, with good bargain, AUD110-120.
Put that puppy look on, beg to your parents, and come home with a pair of this beautiful boots ya! ;D
We did a lot of shopping and I'm pretty sure daddy won't be happy about it. haha. =P
Grabbed a few shirts, caps, even slippers, fridge magnets, keychains, and cute cute kangaroos and koalas for our family and friends back home.
Heck, we bought more souvenirs for others than for ourselves! Haha.
It was half past 5; we hopped on the next train to Perth City to grab some food before going home.

This is Northbridge, my dear friends. =)

Heading to Insan's Cafe, a Malaysian's restaurant, downtown Northbridge.

Pardon the substandard photo, taken using my loyal iPhone, hehee.
Malaysian are hardly ever spotted in Perth, let alone in Midland or Mandurah, but as soon as we stepped inside Insan's cafe... the first thought came to my mind was, 'so this is where the Malaysian's are hiding!' Lol.
It was packed with Muslims from all over the world.
It's a small, yet comforting little sanctuary for Muslims to have a good food and good company.
It was very nice seeing them. =')
Terubat laah jugak rindu. Haha, okay agak poyo disitu. Lols.

Mission of the day:
Spent more money than we should have, hindsight, pisses daddy off, hehe. ü
Gastronomically satiated! =D
Sorry no photos of the food this time, I was so terribly hungry. *blush*
So, shall we go home now, friends?

Perth Underground Station.
Mommy said, "Peace honey, we spent your money more than we should have, that's for breaking your promises to our daughter."
Haha, okay I made that up, haha.
Though, I'm sure mommy isn't happy though daddy when you broke your promises, huhu.
I say, flowers are in order, daddy. *wink*

Mandurah Train/Bus Station.
Waiting for our transportation to come and fetch us.
All in all, it was a very tiring, but amazing day.
I got to spend time with mommy more than I could back home.
She's always busy with work; 12 hours a day, 7 am to 7 pm everyday.
I only get to see her at night, which is for 2 hours, and that is before she goes to bed at 9 pm.
Therefore, I can't thank Allah enough for giving me this moment, even if it's for a brief.
I'm so happy today.
=')
Bathed, fed and rested.
I shall now hit the sack, it's gonna be a long day tomorrow.
P/S : Daddy, I wish you were here today with us, it'd be more fantastic, though I totally understand your situation, this is me saying goodbye. I love you, dad.
Sayang, do take care yourself while I'm away. We shall reunite soon!
Natasha,
x
