Let Me Bring You to Esplanade, Perth.

Fusilli and gravy for lunch.

The brilliant master chef, my lovely mommy. =)

Me, stuffing food into my face.

I'm actually starving as we speak or as I type this entry.
I can jump onto a camel and bite on its neck kinda hungry, lol.
Therefore, pardon me for starting off today's entry with those yummy photos, hehee.

Okay, let's get back to business!
Sorry again menyimpang tiba-tiba, lol. =P
So, today I'm going to bring you, my readers to South Perth, virtually.
Baik tak ayeeee? Hehe. =P

Ahem Ahem.
Best student? Haha.
Waiting for the train to Esplanade, so I killed the time by reading.
While mommy talked animatedly with the locals.

That's our train! =)
As I've mentioned earlier in my previous post, this train service had only operated in Mandurah for 3 months. Hehee, I've been on it! *proud look on my face*

Shall we see the interior of the train? It totally differs from our LRT.
And they actually practice this, unlike in our country.
There was a time when an elementary student offered ME, his seat because school students are educate by their government to give their seats to adults who need them more than they do.
If only, this is practiced seriously in our country, right?

These priority seats are for elderly people, preggy mommies and mothers with baby strollers.
These seats are much closer to the doors. And NObody with good physiques sat there.
That doesn't happen in our country, does it?

They even have an area for the disabled, which is closer to the doors as well.

More priority seats.

Every single thing in this universe has rules, so does when boarding trains.
Shall we see the rules? =)
The 9 simple rules. Take a time to read this and ponder, did we follow this?
Australians obeyed these rules. But, in our country, I'm pretty sure the citizen would have violated at least 7 out of these 9 rules. *chuckle*

Hehe, our collection of Transperth tickets.
These tickets can be used when boarding the train, riding the bus as well as boarding the ferry, with no extra fees. It's totally free, as long as the transportation is under the Transperth service, though.

The train ride from Mandurah to Esplanade took about half an hour to 40 minutes.
So, THIS is Esplanade!

This is us, heading to the jetty to board a ferry to South Perth.
Mommy was 'telling' me to walk beside her cause she's afraid I'd get kidnap or something.
Lol, seriously Ma?

I'm in Esplanade! =DD

Path for pedestrians and cyclists as well as skaters.
We don't have this in our city, do we?
*index finger on chin, tapping softly and eyebrows furrow, looking up on the ceiling*

The crystal clear water and the deep blue sky. MasyAllah. Beautiful scenery, isn't? =)
This is taken from The Esplanade Foreshore, and at the other side of the river is South Perth City,
where Perth Zoo is located.

Those buildings behind me are the Barrack Jetty.

These are seagulls.
They're everywhere in WA and they're frigging nooooiiisssyyyy! -.-'
If only I had my magic wand, I would have mute 'em.

That's my mommy with her friend, Peter.
The tall tower standing behind them is the infamous Big Bells.

Barrack Jetty is located opposite the Big Bells.
So, this is the jetty where we boarded our ferry to South Perth City.

If you don't have your Transperth ticket, you may purchase your ticket from that rectangular steel machine with that humongous label stated 'tickets' on. But, iff you do have the valid ticket, you may just board the ferry for free.

Captain Cook Cruises bring passengers to cruise only to Rottnest Island.
Hancus harapan konon nak naik cruise berangan Titanic, lol.

Now, let's take a time to read this pulak, okay. =)

Hahaha, lose that frown. I have a very good reason for taking this photo!
Hear me out first, then you may laugh at me. =P

You see, it's VERY difficult to find A bin in Western Australia, and it's VERY hard to find even a litter on the ground or on the grass. WA is super duper clean! It's like they have this gigantic vacuum that could suck all dirt and litters in one time, okay I'm rambling.
SO, this was the first bin that I had seen while in WA! Haha.
Therefore, pardon my ke-excited-ness-an ye! Lol. ;P

They have priority seats in the ferry as well!
I doubt we have this in our country. ;(

Travelling, especially among elders are made easier with this facility.
Bicycles are allowed in the train and in the ferry, thus, aid the old folks to travel from one place to another easily without having to walk. They wouldn't wear themselves out.
Interesting isn't? Bicycles aren't allowed in our LRT, am I right?

Woman's power!
Pengemudi dia orang perempuan babe! Haha, bangga sekejap. =P

"Yay, I get to sit next to the wiiiiinndoooowww!" Hence, the ear-to-ear smile. ;P
And nope the water doesn't smell, unlike South Malaysia Channel, hanyir, huhu.

LOL! That's my mommy! XDD
I made her do this, and she was happy to oblige anyway, haha, and the whites were looking at us with silly grin on their faces! Hahaha. Mesti diorg cakap orang Asia jakun, hehee!
As a Malay proverb goes, Kerana nila setitik (because of one or two people), abis busuk susu setin! (the rest of the nation or race are being judged by their action)
Note: That isn't the correct proverb, it's been modified and vandalised by me, hehee.

Hindsight, we had the best laugh through our voyage! She's the coolest mom ever! =D

We've now reached South Perth Jetty! =)

As much as I want to continue typing and share my story, but my fingers are numb right now.
So, our journey to South Perth City will continue in the next post.
I guess, I'll see you, my readers, soon *fingers crossed* with more pictures!

Tata for now!
