back time...

What would you do differently?

Friends and I would sometimes, imagine the things we would have done differently then and how it would impact our lives now. We did a list.

Just stick to studying. No skipping classes, no procastinating when it comes to assignment and listen during lectures. I will tell my younger self; 

"Look, its just for few years. Trust me, I'm now working and I wish I could go back to college life. So, just stick to school, do well, quickly graduate and find the best job ever, save up some money, then travel the world."

I would do a lil slide presentation of the ex boyfriends; pictures, background, break up reason, their weaknesses and all the information I could gather so I can advice younger me to be extra careful. 

"Stay away from these boys, they will hurt you. But if you still want to give it a try, hurt them before they hurt you. Or...learn from my mistakes and do something different, maybe you can make it work from there, and eventually the right guy for you will come and swoop you off your feet". 

If only I've met Fared 5 years earlier, all those tears-boys drama wouldn't have happened, haha.

"Dont waste your time with romance. Open your mind to other books, study their style of writing, read the papers, practice writing and maybe, JUST MAYBE, you can concentrate on writing and earn your living through your words and ideas" 

*cewaaaah! haha.* But honestly, I would tell my younger self to concentrate more on reading and writing.

If I knew which friend would backstab me, I would stay far away from him/her. I wouldn't go through all that drama of betrayal and wast tears on people I shouldn't waste my tears on. I would know which friends to keep and how special I should treat my true friends.   

And the list goes on and on and on....

There are so many things I wish I could I have done differently, but without those mistakes that I've made, I won't be here either. I probably wouldn't have met Fared, oh my! O.o That's beside the point, but anyway, we all learn through our mistakes and apparently, that's the best teacher we can learn from. 

So, if I could really rewind back time...it is to re-live my life. Only this time, I would live life to the fullest, make more mistakes and learn to laugh at all those silly mistakes. =P Lol.

I can see someone's VERY excited to start off with her/his own list. =P
