Wouldn't Wanna Be Anybody Else.

Honestly, I CAN't find anything about her that I don't like.
What really catch my eyes are her style (she has great fashion sense, ladies! ;D) and the way she carries herself (oh, so poised!). She's simple, decent and never tries too hard, but always looks amazing.
Such a sweetheart. =)
I saw this video on Youtube and I like the message she is sending to the fans, especially the hormonal and insecure teenagers, who are just about to embark into an awkward stage of growing up.
I used to hate my flawed skin, and my uneven skin tone colour.
I'd stare in the mirror and wish my legs were longer, and my skin was fairer, hoping my pimples would disappear, or that I'd have skinny hands, or that my forehead wasn't too wide and the list went on and on.
I would look in the television and saw Nicole Scherzinger strutting her flawless body on screen and thought, why can't I look like that?
I would look in magazines and saw Vanessa Hudgens posing for the camera and her tan flawless skin glowed and her dark brown curls was perfect at its place and I thought, why can't I look like her?
BUT
I realised that,
"beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart." -Kahlil Gibran
I learn to accept all my flaws. And I've accepted that I'm not going to get any fairer. I'm 5 ft and I've accepted the fact that I'm not going to get any taller.
Like Miss Gomez has so eloquently put, "I wouldn't wanna be anybody else".
I wouldn't change to be someone else just so to please other people, or to be more specific, to please a guy. I wouldn't change who I am so I could be someone else - more pretty or more intelligent.
Because I am more than happy and in love myself. =)
My mommy has made me realised that I am beautiful inside and out, no matter what others say.
"Beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, the make up she has on, or the way she does her hair, BUT the way she puts thoughts into words, the way she carries herself and behaves around others, and most importantly, a woman with good heart, and is capable to love, is a beautiful woman." - Liza Che Teh.
So to anyone that are still having this "I'm ugly" feeling, there will be days that you will feel crappy about yourself, but just remember that you don't need to change your physique or to conform to anything or anyone, because everybody is born to be beautiful. But, we just don't realise it yet. =)
Thank you Mommy for convincing me that I am beautiful and worthy of a handsome companion.
I love you Mama.
I wouldn't wanna be anybody else, as my beauty comes from you, my beautiful Mama. =)
And I love you too Fared Amsyar for accepting the REAL me and not even once you tried to change me into somebody else whom I'm not.
Thank you. =)
Embrace yourself.
Beauty is how you feel inside,
and it reflects in your eyes;
It's not something physical.

xoxo,
Natasha
